How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is 1,000 euros and is taken as a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card.
Is cleaning included?
End-of-stay cleaning is covered, though we ask guests to remove rubbish on departure—standard practice across French country rentals.
Is there an enclosed outside area for small children to play in?
Yes; our walled courtyard and lawn are fully enclosed.
Can you arrange for a champagne welcome?
Yes this is usually possible. We will contact you after you have made your booking to find out if you have any special requirements.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Standard check-in is 16 :00-19 :00 and check-out is 10 :00—in line with most Provençal holiday homes.
Can I smoke inside the property?
Our property is non-smoking, but you can, of course, smoke outside.
Can I request a late Sunday check-out for a weekend stay?
Yes, subject to availability; please ask when booking.
What do I do if I break something or something stops working during my stay?
We realise that “accidents can (and do) happen”. If something is broken or stops working during your stay, please let us know straight away and we can help fix any issues promptly.
Can I bring my dog or cat?
Yes, pets are welcome with prior written approval.
Can you buy some groceries for us before we arrive at the property?
Yes this is usually possible. We will contact you after you have made your booking to find out if you have any special requirements.
Is there cleaning equipment available?
Yes, a selection of cleaning products are available.
Can you hold a period for me while I make my decision?
Yes, you can hold a booking for a period of 24 hours without any obligation by checking availability on our website and clicking on the ’24hr Hold’ button.
Can you arrange babysitting / child minding?
We can connect you with a trusted local sitter, subject to availability.
Can you provide a baby’s cot?
Yes, but it is essential you inform us if you would like a baby’s cot prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not supply bed linen for cots.
Can you arrange additional cleaning during our stay?
Yes, this is usually possible. We will contact you after you have made your booking to find out if you have any special requirements.
At what times of the year do you accept weekend and short stay bookings?
We take weekend and short stay bookings in the low season – May, June, September, October, November and December (up until Christmas week).
What are the minimum nights for a short stay booking?
Our tariff is based on seven nights, but you may stay fewer nights at the same rate, mirroring policies at comparable châteaux.
What are your arrival and departure times for weekend bookings?
For weekend bookings (unless otherwise stated) you can arrive between 16:00 and 19:00 on your day of arrival and will need to vacate the property by 10:00 on your day of departure. * Weekend Specials * Sometimes, we offer a Sunday evening departure for guests who book weekend stays including Friday and Saturday nights. Please contact us for further details.
Do you offer vineyard tastings near Uzès?
Yes, we partner with neighbouring estates for private tastings and tours.
How far is the château from Pont du Gard?
About 25 minutes by car, perfect for a half-day canoe trip on the Gardon River.
Is the château’s heated pool open year-round?
Yes, the outdoor pool is heated and available in all seasons unless explicitly stated.
How many wedding guests can the château host?
We accommodate receptions for up to 160 guests.
